DESCRIPTION

You play as Carrie who uses her trusty color blaster to destroy various bosses by matching the enemy's color. You will also discover hidden power-ups such as slow time when you destroy parts of the boss which you can then use to your advantage.

I designed the main mechanics, narrative and most of the levels in the game.

CHALLENGES

Problem

Early in the development cycle, there was a flaw in these types of bosses as the more you destroy it the more it became weaker.

 

Solution

Some BRYKs has a counter where they evolve into random turrets when enough BRYKs are destroyed. This gave a relative spike in difficulty at the later stages of the battle.
